At Keyways we have seven standard key safe models but we can also offer key safe units that are designed suit your individual specifications.

It is possible to modify key safes in terms of size, the number of locks, to include a padlock, solid door, or any specific internal fittings of fixtures.

> Key Exchange Units

A safe key can be used in conjunction with a key safe when more than four or seven keys are needed to operate the ''locking off'' procedure. The final secondary key, from the nominated key safe is then locked in to the control lock located on the exchange unit. This allows additional keys to be removed. Before the control key can be returned to the nominated key safe all additional keys must be returned to the exchange unit, eliminating the possibility of having several key safes being tied up in one locking off procedure.

> Portable Key Safes

The type 8 key safe has been specifically designed for locatiosn where there is restraicted wall space, or for engineers that are working at remote locations. The central lock can be suited to match an exisiting key. This allows the engineer to use the same control key as a suite of standard key safes.
